Keeping Cinema HD / FilmPlus up to Date

NOTE - CHECK TO SEE IF CInema HD / FilmPlus IS WORKING, FIRST... only follow this post if you are having issues.  

As of June 17th, 2022 the current version of FilmPlus is V. 1.4.5 and the current Version of Cinema HD is 2.4.0

To check to make sure you have the current version 

• Open Cinema or FilmPlus
• Click on the Menu Icon (top Left Corner of Cinema app)
• It will display the current Version
• If your version is out of date, scroll down in this menu to Check for Updates, and follow prompts.
• If you run into an issue where the update is not working (either says "not Installed" or "Parsing Error") then you need to uninstall the old version and re-install the Current Version

To Uninstall an app

• Go to the main home screen on your box
• Click on Settings

             (Zoomtak owners will need to click on Advanced Settings, then More                      

             Settings)

• In the Apps row, Scroll across and select Cinema HD
• Scroll down and select Uninstall
• Click Ok to confirm you wish to Uninstall the app.

To Install a fresh version of Cinema HD / FilmPlus Download Fresh Version

• Open your browser (Web) on your android box and navigate to www.shopedmi.com/tools and hit enter.
• Click on the Cinema or Filmplus button to download the app)

             Note: you should see "Download Started")

• Return to your home page, and click on apps select File Browser and navigate to Local Disk - Downloads

Install Cinema HD / FilmPlus

• Select the file that you just downloaded (if in doubt look for the file that has the most recent date) click Install, and Done when finished.
• Make sure you Allow and Accept all options that come up to ensure it has every permission required, click OK on the Update Log that will appear.

Hope this helps everyone stay current and up to date.Remember each update in Cinema / FilmPlus is REQUIRED, as the key thing that is updated is WHERE the software looks to find the most current sources for the shows and movies you want to watch.
